My proposed research is an investigation into Canadian protests, specifically at Indigenous versus settler lead protests. It is important that we look at the differences in public acceptance, support and government response. We are currently in a historic place where our cooperation with the USA is declining, we are having to rely on local resources and these resources have been historically protected by Indigenous lead initiatives but are often rejected by the greater Canadian society. Poster proposal submission was presented at the Coquitlam campus on April 8, 2025, for Student Research Days 2025.
