Description / Synopsis
This zine was created as an assignment for a Gender, Sexualities and Women's Studies (GSWS 1101, Winter 2024) with Douglas College instructor Sally Mennill. Students created zines exploring the themes of the course such as feminist theories of intersectionality, heteronormativity, critical race theory, and performativity.
Intersectional feminism is a form of feminism that takes into account how culture, gender sexuality, race, class as well as other parts of a person's identity can affect how they face inequality and discrimination. |
