Abstract
Robin DeRosa and Rajiv Jhangiani are accomplished champions of Open Education. They visit with faculty, staff, and students at many colleges and universities to talk about Open Pedagogy, Open Educational Resources (OER), critical and empowering uses of technology in teaching and learning, and future possibilities for higher education.

Starting with a critical look at how Open Educational Resources (OERs) can open doors to college affordability and student success, Robin and Rajiv's presentation expands the conversation to move beyond cost-savings into a broader focus on access and equity. They give examples of teaching practices that center learner agency and voice, catalyze the open sharing of knowledge, and demonstrate the value of higher education to students, faculty, and the wider community. Robin and Rajiv explore how Open Education can shape a hopeful and humane vision for the future of higher education.
