Densification has been hailed as the answer to creating walkable neighborhoods, reducing our ecological footprint, and addressing the shortage of affordable housing in the Lower Mainland. But with home-buyers and renters still paying top dollar per square foot, who really benefits from expanding upwards and downwards, and squeezing people into more and more compact spaces? Join us as we explore the pros and cons of densification, and its social, environmental and economic impacts.
